Directors because IMO the other directors had a say in the decisions. And I'm saying this with FULL respect to all those directors. In the past they have made some terrible decisions - I'm not talking about selling players - I'm talking about player contracts here. So People need to LEAVE OFF Hecky and just take a minute to think about what this person has achieved.
Things feel pretty negative at the club at present. Lack of investment on and off the pitch is worrying.
When we were first told by those in the know that the takeover might be announced by the end of September we were quite rightly excited at the prospect and wanted to know more. Now two months later we know nothing more and even worry ourselves it may not be happening at all. The lack of comment is a concern, so either Hecky genuinely knows nothing or he is working under pressure to save his job and is constrained by those above to keep quiet. Either way we do need to know if it is still happening. The current silence speaks volumes.
Haven't we spent more this pre-season than we have in any other? I still think this is a decent team despite the last two games - we'd put a decent run together playing some good football. Two games and everything turns into doom and gloom
This season thus far we have overachieved. I’d say other than Bolton and Burton we have easily the poorest team in the division so let’s hope we can continue fighting the odds.
Collectively then we are a better team and despite them having better individual players we played them both off the pitch
Hence the overachievement. If any manager can harness their individual talents they will outperform us.
We had to sign 218 players. Even when you're buying cheapo players from Scotland it's going to add up. As a percentage of the actual transfer income received in the past year or so and the £12.1m we've received just for being in the Championship it's bugger all.
