Mentioned on news... ? UK minister Priti Patel secretly urged aid for al-Qaida via Isreal https://electronicintifada.net/blog...riti-patel-secretly-urged-aid-al-qaida-israel
If by not knowing anything about the place you mean I don't agree with you that a widely recognised democracy, arguably the strongest democracy in that region, is not, by any credible definition, a fascist state then you're absolutely correct.
Apartheid South Africa was also a "democratic state" if you towed the line.. It's a racist state .. if you knew anything about its history you would know.. Similar folk who supported South Africa supported Rhodesia supported Isreal .. all "democratic" ..
I don't think anybody would claim that South Africa was a legitimate democratic country until 1994; it certainly was not democratic for black people, regardless of whether they 'towed the line' or not. You may interpret the political system in Israel as racist but that is not a statement of fact, it is as I said just your opinion. We could argue all day long about Israel, it is one of those subjects that polarises opinion with no side conceding to the other. I simply do not agree with your opinion on Israel and I'm guessing I never will and vice-versa.
I'm basing what I say on facts... youre not saying anything... it's not democratic for the natives ..isreal is a white western colony in Palestine/ middle east... read up on the facts of its racism and fascism and terrorism .. you might find it eye opening..
Isreal and its supporters may say its not a fascist state but in truth, they are acting like one by ethnically cleansing the Goalan Hights and occupying this and other Palestinian lands, you would have thought a state like Isreal would be the last peoples to do these things after the 1939/45 world war2 when they them selfs very nearly ethnically cleansed by a so called strong democrat country.
You're basing your opinion on the facts and opinions that support your narrative while choosing to ignore anything that doesn't. Over fifty years of conflict, negotiations and peace talks that haven't resolved the situation and you have summarised it all in one sentence. You really should work for the UN. I'm sure you'll also argue that Hamas are a peaceful tolerant group and provide lots of 'facts' to support this. Personally I can listen to the arguments on both sides and to some extent have some sympathy with both sides to greater and lesser degrees but I don't have an agenda which makes it a whole lot easier to take a balanced view.
Ethnic cleansing? This debate is becoming silly now. What about the Hezbollah attacks from South Lebanon? Surely there has to be efforts from all sides to resolve the conflict.
I would suggest Hamas & Hezbollah would be far easier to appease in this situation. Israel has the most to lose as of now they are unopposed in their quest to expand into more Palestine territory.
I'm wondering if you get your info from online racist anti Muslim and Zionist sites or Tommy robinson.. you could have copy and pasted all that . .. it's like arguing with a flat earth advocate.. some folk said same thing what you're saying about apartheid South Africa...
Maybe she was just dropping off a few more Passports? https://www.theguardian.com/uk/2010/feb/18/dubai-assassination-forged-british-passports

Great response Kestrel, you win. How can I possibly debate with such an esteemed expert on the Israeli Palestinian conflict. Once again you've demonstrated a complete inability to hold a reasoned debate with somebody who doesn't hold the same opinion as you. One thing I'm left pondering, perhaps you can help, is how somebody who states they hear and sympathise with both sides of the argument and also sees wrongdoing on both sides is racist, anti Muslim and a Zionist sympathiser yet somebody who completely dismisses any other opinion than the one that fits their political narrative is right-on and in possession of all the facts? It's a very strange viewpoint but one that seems prevalent amongst a small but particularly vocal political persuasion. In fact don't bother, your blinkered myopic views make reasonable and balanced debate impossible so I won't be replying to you again in this thread.
I think that is conjecture at best. Both sides have demonstrated an intransigence that makes the prospect of any negotiated settlement to this dispute very unlikely; at least one that is likely to remain long term.
Israeli agents have infiltrated Parliament and have been having undue influence in UK politics for years. They spend a fortune on it and they are trying to destabilised The Labour Party because JC won't play ball with them. Just check out how many ex UK MPs like Dame Shirley Porter end up living there and how many of them have "Holidays" there?
One side are the oppressors, the colonists ..the other the oppressed natives... it's an age old saga ... just in Palestine its kinda recent. You should read up on it cos you don't know much on it that's evident
With the recent shortcomings of our beloved politicians being embarrassingly exposed, perhaps it's time start putting the BEST person in the relevant job. If they fail, fuckem off with no payout. You know, like they do in the real world where normal people work.
Beggars belief why the 3 main party's have friends of Israel branches ... Dan Jarvis and him who was East tarn mp who left for a city directors job this year are leading members in LFI..bliarites.. This was a documentary on it ..recently There is a part 3 and 4
