Nearly all my family/ relatives are from areas in and around Hoyland wombwell chap area sadly half of them are deluded swfc fans... Doubt there are any sufc fans north of burngreave
Don't forget the staff of these clubs know each other like in any trade or business....it's just a bit of fun which I'm sure they will appreciate.
Counter productive? On that basis being nice about the set of delusional ***** is productive then? Football is far too serious at times lighten up
No, I'm not fussed either way about Wednesday. I suppose we are rivals though as well be spending quite a while in the same division and they're local. That's about it though
We are to them the Sadly we are not rivals in the truest sense of the word. Rivalry indicates some sort of equality of arms. No limb jokes please.
I openly hate everything about their club, mostly their fans. I have shared my experience on this forum before from the 13/14 season where I ended up in the Hallamshire hospital for 3 days because of their idiotic fans. If it would have happened at any other club in the world I would hate that club forever and a day, it just happened to be Wednesday where it happened. Also, the fact that there is 12 miles between oakwell and the pig sty and still most wednesday fans refuse to acknowledges us a derby really does make me laugh.
On a personal level I’ve no Wednesday supporting mates & don’t work with any so it doesn’t bother me that much. Main reason I want us to beat them is for 3 points & the inevitable piss taking on social media
If I had the wing of an eagle The dirty black arse of a crow Id fly over Hillsborough tomorrow And **** on the ******** below
See, I think most of them do internally. But they wouldn't admit it to us as then they're admitting there's some significance in the result. You've only got to look at the obsession of some of their supporters on their forums, the heightened celebrations during and after games if they beat us and the fact they're willing to pay 36 quid to come to Oakwell to see that a lot of them really do care.
Can we all stop talking about football rivalries and get back to pseudo-intellectual political posturing please? FFS.
Aye it is. I was in there for a few with my Uncle and Dad earlier in the year and it was full of them. Hoyland Wednesday Supporters Club or something along those lines.
