    Win was un-deserved and papered over the cracks. Honestly would have been better if we lost and the manager and players would have been forced to change something. Worst England team I have ever seen.

    With the win now, everything seems justified. If we can barely squeak out wins against Slovenia and Slovakia at home and struggle against Malta away for 60 minutes I really fear we could be absolutely embarrassed at the World Cup

    Look how well germany and spain have performed in major championship finals compared to england.
    The qualification requirement is poor accross the board.

    Germany only ever lost 2 world cup qualifiers (1 against us ), never lost away and in this campaign it's 9 wins from 9 with a goal differeence of +35.... ours is 7 wins, 2 draws and a goal difference of +14.

    I know who I would rather watch !


    Oh, and I believe they've won more competitions than us....barring the one time....

    Maybe besides the Wales game, we literally haven't grinded out one game in any tournament football in the last 10 years. Like Arsenal fans and the Champions League, I'd rather not be there if we aren't going to do anything

    yet you'd still get the knife in for not qualifying. We qualify for every single tournament and that is something that many countries cannot say. Many of those countries show their national side good support too.

    I'm annoyed by two "holding" midfielders playing in front of a back four at home, with one of the two said midfielders being as limited as James Bailey, David Fox and Joe Rothwell combined.

    Not a fan of Southgate but he's got the job done at the end of the day. England are at the world cup and it should be celebrated.
