    Birmingham brought Cotterril in as coach for the last three games of last season
    alongside Rednapp and they managed to get the two wins needed to stave off
    relegation. The rumour was that he and 'Arry didn't really see eye to eye so when a new
    contract was offered for this season, he knocked it back, so it comes as really no
    surprise that following Rednapps sacking, he's now been offered the job on a permanent basis.

    Cotterill registered a 1-0 home win against Warnock's high flying Cardiff City at St Andrews
    in his first game as Brum Manager on Friday night. Marc Roberts played the full game in defence.
