We're down at the British Museum on Saturday and aren't going to make it back fir the match. My son is not happy as he wants "to see Conor regret his choice" (he's 10) my youngest isn't best pleased either (5).

Can any of the London reds recommend anywhere kid friendly where we can take in the game?

I have watched football previously in the bar at the Bloomsbury Holiday Inn - about 400m across Russell Square from the back of the museum. That was about 8-9 years ago when I was on a course down there. It might be expensive but kids should be ok.

You could also try the "Friend at Hand" - looks to be a Greene King pub with multi-screen live sports next to Russell Square tube.

The Northumberland Arms isn't the most family friendly pub that I've come across in London. Don't get me wrong, it's not appalling and it is incredibly cheap but it's also frequented by a weird crowd. It would be like taking your children to the Groggers Rest, in my opinion.

As Scoff mentions above, there are plenty around Russell Square although the establishment connected to the Holiday Inn is now an Irish Bar (Callaghans, possibly) but I'm sure it still shows live football.

Don't forget Greene King pubs do 10% off drinks an hour before, during and an hour after live televised matches. Just ask at the bar for a 'Season Ticket' and they'll give you a free card you can use at any GK pub across the country.

See this thread for more info: http://bbs.barnsleyfc.org.uk/thread...t-card-during-any-live-televised-game.257909/

Avoid anywhere around KNX or London Bridge.

    Leeds are at millwall.
