If you mean Winnall, do you mean whispers from the other thread about this? Because there's no chance they'd disrupt squad unity for him. Provide credible source
Surely not? He'd be a better striker than whoever else we'd get, but I just can't believe we'd go for it.
Didn't think none of the club staff liked winnall according to some posters on here????? Also we are creating so many chances but just have no one to put ball in net he would be in double figures by October.
Winnall was a reprobate by all accounts; constantly belittling the likes of Tuton and the junior members of the squad. Aye he scored goals but I've heard that he was an absolute horror show to be around. More chance of seeing Nelson than the club welcoming him back through the door.
Ok. Let's get him back on a season long loan from our local friends, hope all their forwards lose legs, arms and heads in freak incidents, and they can't recall him, so effectively we weaken their team...... just like they did to us !
Not going to happen but I would welcome Winnall back If he said it was a mistake to go, scored a few goals, and fired us up the league. He's a young lad who's head got turned by money. Won't be the last. However doubt he would want to come back, doubt we could afford half his wages, and doubt Wednesday would let him go to anyone else in the league. We're on the same points as them after all!
I heard it's Kayden Jackson after his explosive start at Accrington. Wages are said to be a stumbling block though.
Jackson, Elliot Lee, Omari Patrick. We released them all, and they all scored on debuts this season! Ironic really.
Wish we'd released Adam Jackson. Preferably from an aeroplane with a parachute on his back, somewhere above Siberia.
Was he worse than McDonald? Heard mixed reviews that actually the worst performance was McDonald who if you didn't know would say he was the one with no league experience.
I'm hoping by the end of the transfer window that Winnall wouldn't get in the first 11 anyway. There are much better strikers out there than Winnall. Especially on the continent.
Look if its Winnall lets shake his hand and put the past behind us, and if he gets the goals we need then it will turn out to be a good deal all round. If he doesn't then I appreciate us at least trying.
