One of the worst players I've seen in a Barnsley shirt in my 35 years of supporting them.

My worry is and I'm sure it's been discussed to death on here is If Yiadom goes we will need 2 full backs,Cohen Bramhall and Callum Connolly? Just a thought.

Elder came from Leicester and was absolutely abysmal. We've had plenty of other players on loan from top sides who've been equally woeful. What makes you think that the young Arsenal left back will be any different? Connolly hardly pulled up any trees. Similar craic to this McBurnie, people lording him as the Messiah just because he's at Swansea.

Might be OK at league one level. Hope not though, just cos it's Wigan.

wonder if he is good enough for league 1 - he certainly wasnt for the Championship
I've nothing against him - he tried but was out of his depth for us. Not sure he is the player that will propel Wigan back up

Not good enough for the championship but might flourish in league one.

He is way better than Brek Shea, but I get your point.

Phew. Their loss is our gain.

He needs more than luck. The only time he was level with his teammates was when they passed each other as he went one way and the others went another.

He was poor but spent most of the first half of the season injured & then joined a team who'd sold half their team & were showing relegation form. It was hardly a good situation for a young loanee to thrive in.

If he's had a full pre-season & Wigan keep a decent team together I wouldn't be surprised if he does alright at that level.
