Rather than slate the op recognise the fact that we are still several players short with just over a week to go. Strikers are a top priority as they have been for six months, pity we always seem to keep everyone waiting to the bitter end... sadly with no guarantee of success.
I don't think anybody is disputing the point that we need players in. It's more about it being another 'look at me' thread, despite the fact Heckingbottom has been saying, for weeks, that we need players in.
Problem is here we have £25m in the bank and we are scratching around competing with every other club for scraps from the big table for a few loans. Why have we not utilised the European market yet? GG is not a scout but we were told he was well connected with agents and the such throughout Europe. Will he leave? No but Hecky will if we continue to ask the impossible of him.
You do realise we have spent money as well on transfer fees wages to staff and players and maintaing the academy status as well as being a club in credit for the near future and abiding by FFP rules rather than spending money we don't have.

How can anyone be shown to be wrong? All you've done is quote what PH said two weeks ago and present it as your own opinion and a testament to your brilliant insight. Until he starts crediting you in his interviews i'll stick to my current belief that the razor sharp football mind belongs to him rather than you.
