    Money is laughable but a cracking signing for somebody in our league. Would get in most Premier League sides. With some Saturday - Tuesday - Saturday weeks a fairly often happening in our league, he's not gonna be able to manage some games.

    60k a week at 36 year old is it only me who thinks he may be a let down for villa next season.... hope so

    Totally agree and they'll also have to tolerate the most odious, obnoxious, self-indulgent lout ever to play football.
    His guard of honour stunt Said it all and now he's crowing about having to drop down a level because he can't stand the prospect of facing his beloved Chelsea - whilst pocketing £60k a week.
    I pray that they draw each other in the Cup when he full no doubt expect to be carried from the pitch in the first minute by players of both side so overwhelmed will he be by the opportunity for more cheap, cringeworthy, sentimental self-aggrandisement.
    I wouldn't have him thrown at us and will remember him always for slipping on his fat arse whilst losing the Champions League for his beloved Chelsea.
    And he'll be on his arse again when Isgrove and Hammill run rings round him.
    Suffice to say I don't much rate or like him. Watch out Connor, he'll be after your missus n'all.
