Chuffing 'ell give the lad a break. I assume it's his day off. Are you tweeting on behalf of your work on a Bank Holiday Monday? I know I'm not. He might be doing normal things with his family.
Just laughing me **** off at this *****. If you honestly can't tell the difference you must be as nonchalant and clueless as the club are about what happened that day.
While I agree with the sentiment it has to be pointed out that there is a media team not just one person.
Just saying who cares we didn't congratulate blackpool on promotion or arsenal on winning the fa cup but I didn't lose any sleep over it
And it's still Bank Holiday Monday. In closed season. Why exactly would they be working? I've seen some crap reasons to pick on the club but this is up there. My guess is that Whitey is still tweeting on his days off. Don't know about any others.
Exactly she makes it sound like one person is in charge. I'm sure one of the team could find two minutes in their schedule to congratulate our local rivals. Totally different to sending our best wishes to that other club.
Oh I agree with you though at the same time I have no idea what the rota system is within the club especially in close season. On one hand I would expect at least one member of the media team to be on hand 7 days a week regardless of bank holidays on the other hand it's close season so maybe not. As I said, I've no idea I just wanted to clarify that whitey isn't the only one working in the team.
You expect our media team to be working today? Why? I didn't like us congratulating Millwall. I would like us to congratulate Huddersfield. But to have a go at the media team today is ridiculous. Whitey took responsibility for.the Millwall thing. Why are people continually seeking to find fault?
If that was to me (hard to keep track) then I'm not having a go at them. On the face of it not congratulating Huddersfield makes the decision to congratulate Millwall look even worse but I suspect that the decision not to congratulate Huddersfield is actually BECAUSE of the Millwall thing. Whitey made a mistake and to make sure he doesn't do it again he's not congratulating anyone unconnected to Barnsley. Learning from mistakes in a way. As for why I would expect them to be working today. Well that's simply because if they had the numbers to cover 7 long days a week during the season then I'd imagine they'd have numbers to cover 7 shorter days a week now if that makes sense. On the flip side and why I wouldn't be surprised that they have nobody today there's a good chance that people were working too many hours in the season so are on reduced hours now maybe? Not fussed either way to be honest. The media coverage this season has been great
No it was to @dreamboy3000 I have no idea how many media people we employ but I would suggest that media people working today more than any other day in the year is a waste of resources.
Just for the record, they tweeted: "The @SkyBetChamp line-up for next season has been confirmed with Huddersfield winning promotion today." I don't have a problem with them tweeting congratulations one way or another, but I do have a problem with the outcry over something so trivial last time.
No outcry here. Just thought they would have congratulated them but can see after the Millwall incident why they maybe decided not to, even though this is different. One of the team going on their Twitter app on their phone wherever they are for a quick two minutes wouldn't have spoilt the bank holiday.
