https://twitter.com/AJScattergood/status/867497144420380673 Strong and stable my arse. Weak and defensive of corse. And before Mrs May's BBS arse lickers get involved I don't care what the likes of Mario think and try's to deflect any of this away and to Mr Corbyn. She's a disgrace, and her Party's a disgrace.
I agree. Thanks for sharing. It would be nice for her though come out and say sorry I got things wrong. I take some responsibility for us not being able to respond for our police force not having the numbers. Maybe to even offer to resign. Unfortunately there's little sense of honour or responsibility in politics these days. Sent from my iPad using Barnsley FC BBS Fans Forum

First of all Phillip, don't put words in my mouth or try to second guess my opinion. There is a reason why this video has surfaced this week and it's conflating two different issues. Whatever the rights or wrongs of the cuts to the police (I don't agree agree with them for the record) they cannot be blamed for the atrocity carried out on Monday. I don't blindly defend anyone or any party; I put forward a view as I see it (unlike some of the left wing echo chamber residents on here) and I will criticise where criticism is appropriate. As I said, but I will repeat to remove any potential ambiguity, I didn't agree with the police cuts but if you think things will be any different under a Labour government you need to give yourself a shake because the thought of Diane Abbott as Home Secretary is frightening. Thanks for the mention in dispatches by the way but you're accusation is baseless - something you make a habit of on here.
She is a disgrace and her party's a disgrace, that's a given. On the other hand there's the Iraq war that triggered a load of what's happening now plus Dianne Abbott. I can't remember British politics being as poor as it is at the moment. I wouldn't trust any of these dickheads to walk the dog.
Mrs may is an out of touch untrustworthy crank as are the majority of high profile British MPs or indeed any European MPs at that.
Never have I feared the result of an election as much as I fear the result of this. It's giving me sleepless nights. The horrors of what the Conservatives have planned, some of it seen in their manifesto is enough to give anyone nightmares. A low tax haven for the super rich People viewed as "stock" or "fodder", (words attributed to Lord Freud and Ian Duncan Smith) An insurance based NHS with treatment based on those who can pay and those who cant. Collapse of the welfare system. Total privatisation of the education system, run for profit only and where the emphasis is on rote learning, (we can't have a generation growing of critical thinkers can we?) Scrapping of school lunches for primary chikdren Breakfasts based on 7p per child Continued high tuition fees. Continued attacks on the weak, the poor, the needy, the disabled and the vulnerable. The demonisation of the poor. The continued shrinking of public services The internet to be governed more strictly and the govt to be given further powers to spy on all we do under the guise of the protection from terrorism. The military on the streets to make up for the lack of police numbers The dementia tax. Everything that they do, say it introduce, wholly backed by a right wing media owned by billionaires. Zero hour contract jobs which provide no hope, no future and no aspiration and which enable the govt to massage the unemployment figures in their favour. The reduction of worker's rights. Continuing to make "Sweetheart deals" with corporations to allow billions of pounds of tax to be avoided. Enabling the cost of living to rise through their ideology but squeezing local councils ensuring housing benefits are cut and enabling the private rental sector to hit exorbitant highs, Supplying weapons to regimes and people they claim as the enemy, There's more, these are just off the top of my head. I'm addition to this, they have their greedy, opportunistic fingers into every company milking the assets of the nation, squeezing the life out of our country whilst fattening on the proceeds like bloated maggots. How could anyone vote for such opportunistic, greedy, self seeking profit before people scumbags? But people do !
I saw a graph last night of police numbers, and they are at the lowest point for 20 years - since the last Tory government, Police numbers rose under Labour then were cut again under the Tories. Even with the armed soldiers on the streets added to the total, the total number of armed police is less than it was in 2010. And all the overtime they are working at the moment is coming out of next year's police budget. It doesn't help that Mr May is heavily involved with G4S - privatized police might be the end goal.
It makes me want to smash my face on the nearest wall when people try to say Corbyn is just as bad. Something about Trident and weak leadership.
Are you anti Trident? Labour are not planning on getting rid of it. Corbyn is personally against it, but unlike May, he doesn't write all the policies on the back of a *** packet & tell the rest of the party to get on with it, only to do a whole bunch of u-turns.
Personally I can't see the point of Trident. We are paying £100+bn for something that we cannot use without the Americans okaying it first. Being completely honest, if it gets to the stage that we need to use it, there isn't going to be much left afterwards in this hemisphere anyway. When a student I had an interview at Aldermaston and probably talked myself out of it by saying that we should be researching weapons that took out infrastructure rather than people.
Let's look at the hostility he has faced from all angles since being elected as leader. He's shown remarkable poise, strength and grace, never stooping to personal attacks and not backing out. And he couldn't handle negotiations to leave the EU? Do me a favour.
I agree. Money would be better spent on education, heath & on conventional army / police security services as monday showed. The reality is the party overall (especially the PLP), has a multilateral stance & Corbyn has realised that is a battle he can't win at the moment, either in the party, or the court of public opinion.
Exactly. Negotiations are better done with a non confrontational approach, especially when you have a weak bargaining hand, like the UK has with the EU. May's arrogant approach will lose this country millions of jobs. i have no doubt of it. The top 5% will be wealthier though & they are the ones that own the oil companies, news media, etc
We'd be better off giving the USA 1 Billion pounds a year to go under their shield as they have enough bombs to blow the planet up 4 times for some reason. Trident is like having the best car among your friends but you will never drive it.
So let me just be clear on this - I think using all my deductive powers you aren't voting Tory in the election - did I get that right
