Interesting facts them, Tottenham will fly to the top next season with it being their home for the year. The main question though, has it been paid for yet? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
HaHa And when you see their Wembley record they might be flying to the bottom of the league next season.
Not half they're bloody useless there. Be a tough year for them next year should be some massive crowds though. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
That's very interesting, actually seeing that clubs who haven't played there are now in the vast minority. Even more interesting that it took us 77 years to get to the old Wembley for the first time. In fact, we left it pretty late, playing in the last ever club fixture to take place there. Then we get there three times in the first ten years of the new stadium being in use. Granted there are far more club matches there than there used to be, but it's still pretty impressive. However, by far the best stat is that of the combined record of Leeds, Sheffield Wednesday and Sheffield United. Played 5, lost 5. Wonderful!
Im looking forward to the day when we play and BEAT Dundee United at Wembley Ian. Nothing personal of course, just business.
So you have no real ambition for your club. FFS everyone seems capable of beating Dundee United these days. Long gone are the days when the likes of Barcelona, Juventus, BorussiaMG, Roma tried and failed. All memories now I'm afraid.........but good ones.
Chelsea and Man United seem to share the shortest period of time for clubs playing at the old and new Wembley. They played each other there in 2000 and 2007. We seem to be next having played there in 2000 and 2008 giving us the third shortest time between playing at the old and new, unless anyone can find a club with a shorter wait.
