No doubt Hecky fits the bill and who could blame him if he decided to chalk **** it on it ....after the way the board pulled the rug from under his feet in the January transfer window...and who could blame him....if he was to walk the club would just promote Sir bobby to appease the fans..
It's quite worrying when you think about it. They're a bigger club, they're close enough for him to commute, bigger budget, they're desperate to reach the premier league and with a good appointment they could be one of the favourites next season. I'd say they would be a very attractive club for a young, ambitious manager.
Not going to worry abart it as there is **** all I can do abart it. Hecky has my full support and I believe that he can keep us moving forward, obviously with improved backing from "upstairs". I'd imagine he'd be interested though, in Derby, if they came calling and I'd not hold it against him. After all, isn't the Head Coach an easily replaceable part of the machine?
You've listed plenty of reasons as to why he'd go if they wanted to speak to him. Plus they got shut of Pearson after five months and his replacement five months later, so he can sign a long term contract there and his pay off would set him up for life and he'd easily find another club.
It'll be Rowett. One of the benefits of being #teamslikebarnsley, we may think we're big fry and on everyones radar, but we're not. Thankfully.
Unless he goes to Norwich - I guess Rowett will finish up at one of the two. I dont think Hecky is a big enough name for Derby at the moment
