Told presenter that Reds fans booed them off the pitch. The presenter sounded astounded but no doubt music to his ears. Gary if you read this post, have you been drinking today? Last thing I'd do do is ring P&G with any criticisms of fans and club.
I don't go away, but I know loads that post on here do. I refuse to accept that there was booing from our crowd. I just cannot see it, given the dedication, expense and commitment that our away crowd show. It has to be bulls**t. And fair play to the RS presenter (Giddings?) who implied as much and didn't accept "Gary's" comments.
I'm on my way back. A few booed them off at half-time. It was audible but it was maybe 20 out of 3000+. I didn't hear anyone boo at the end, but a select few definitely did at the end of the first half.
Wasn't at the game, but reports suggest it was a dour affair. Personally i never boo our team, but if those who have spent their hard earned and chose to spend their Saturday afternoon supporting the reds feel dissatisfied at the performance want to boo then so be it, who am i to argue?
Well I would certainly argue . The emphasis is on support. You do know the same people booed at HALF TIME? Can do very well without these people imo n In fact that probably last well see of em imo. Just gone for piss up . Wouldn't surprise me if there was a couple of Barnsley supporting dee dars tbh
Probley 50 out of 3000+ booed still embarrassing though. The 50 wont have seen us play scince wembley.
Some booed at the final whistle, and some around us moaned constantly throughout the game, slating everything. Bloke at side of us just shouted "aaaargh! Rubbish!" Everytime we lost the ball. Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
I have changed seats now in the east upper because week after week I had to listen to a bloke constantly moan about hourihane. I take my young son with me so I haven't caused a scene. If there any on here who are serial moaners at the game then please p*ss off because it is terrible sat listening to you. I haven't been today so I don't know if I can criticise those booing but they do make me feel sick after the year we have had.
Dour affair compared with the majority of the last 12 months, but Blackpool had a right go at it to be fair to them. I think some people will have seen that they're league two (bloke behind me alluded to it on numerous occasions), with off the pitch problems and thought we would walk it. If some of those fans had half a brain cell, they should see that our own team is currently defying the odds on a regular basis. Reds weren't great today, but your not going to be every week. Players didn't deserve that. There's absolutely no argument in its favour in the context of where we are at this moment in time. Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
Me and my kids sit on the Ponty now days. It isn't the best possible view to be honest, where we sit, but we're surrounded by generally positive fans. That's worth far more than a better view to me.
That's bollix . Booing this team is totally and utterly inappropriate . It's all about perspective. Week in and week out they wear that shirt with pride and they always give 100%. Everyone always has at least one bad day at work. Get real for chrissake.
