It didn't sound a great performance from us but we had our chances. We have a great chance of progressing to the next round. COYR
FA cup, potential upset, still in the hat, another game under the lights and liver and onions for tea it'll do.
It's bloody lovely with mash and fresh veg and we've got custard donuts for after with a pot of Yorkshire tea .....This post is a product of my boredom, sorry.
Today was utter *****, only Davies played well the rest were gash. It's happened before and will happen again. If you boo'd after the last 12 months we've had you're a kn0b. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
It was a lethargic, lazy and downright woeful performance, but I can't bring myself to criticise as they've given me so much joy recently. At least we're still in the hat.
Would rather have had an off day than next Saturday. It's so often the case that we play poorly against lower league opposition in cups (Northampton, Altrincham, Morecambe, Rochdale etc.) so I'm no that's surprised it's happened again. Also got to consider we've played a lot recently so there will be tiredness to a degree. Hecky might think with hindsight he should have made a few changes, but we're in the hat and a good draw in the 4th round could provide a bigger motivation
There's thick, fickle cnuts in this world, unfortunately. This team could have an off month and I'd still feel indebted to them.
Don't know why people are getting so wound up. It's the fa cup. Different kettle o fish. Bad day at the office and we haven't actually lost. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
It was poor from us, but that's the FA Cup. Lower-placed team raises its game and bridges the gap between the higher-division club. That's what happened today. After the year they have given us, I can accept that our players are human.
I thought we lowered our game to below their level. Watkins and Bree combo was poor today especially second haif, Josh took a booking to get Bree arta the ****. Still we are int draw for next round. Also whilst its nice to blame part timers for the booing it just not completely true, frustration took over and booing was heard but went on for 5/6 secs before applause took over.
Just a flat performance for me. Nothing at all in terms of quality down either wing and on the rare occasion we got behind them the delivery wasn't great. It happens. We've avoided losing it, could have won it. Pretty fair result. I thought Davies and Scowen stood out for us. Their number 8 (Potts??) looked tidy for them.
I should have added the word "further" after criticise tbf. It was a crap performance, no two ways about it. But they should be allowed some slack for what they've given us in the last year. And they were probably knackered after their efforts over Christmas.
We were poor but still could have won it bradshaws free header and if connor sees payne in the last minute and squares that ball instead of hitting the keepers legs he scores I'm confident in the replay but a game we ddint want really.
