Could be. I'd be tempted to give Conor a rest anyway though, especially now we've got Williams back fit, and Moncur back from Peterborough. Try playing one of those two in the 442 to see if they can do it, just in case he gets injured?
I doubt it will have much influence I doubt cup tying a player will make any difference to a club wanting to buy, so unless talks are at an advanced stage, in which case we wouldnt be playing the player in a league game either it will be the same selection as would be made outside a transfer window I would expect a few of our more prominent players to be on the bench rather than starting though, Maybe give Moncur and Williams some game time and possibly Payne and White starting - If Winnall Hourihane or Watkins dont start it wont be a shock
