You can ban me or do what **** you have to after this. Hemsy, not seen your thoughts on Rimmo, who for 73 years gave his life to one club. Our club. Not seen one bit from you, of a tarn legend.
I think his opening paragraph alludes to him as I think he says he will only post about Sport>Football or summat. Here it is; "Anyway after whats been posted today on this forum i'm just going to do what I do really and post about Sport > Football > Barnsley FC > Yesterdays match firstly." I read that as I'm not posting about Rimmo
Bree is a good full back and will improve after Heckys mentorship and first team experience. Yiadom is a good wingback and will improve after Heckys mentorship and first team experience.
Quote forum ruleslease avoid creating multiple threads on the same topic. This way, a discussion can be avoided by users who have no interest in the topic. If multiple threads on a specific single topic are created, the threads may be merged or deleted. Other people have been banned for creating multiple threads on the same topic.
He's started a thread which predominantly concerns itself with what happened yesterday and what may happen tomorrow. He has not created nor as far as I can see hijacked any other threads. Let's face it, we're all talking week after week about the same topics. I think you're being harsh on him. Or at least harsh when compared with what others post.
Personally just feel like he is the clumsy unskillful player Celtic fans were delighted to be rid of. That's just from when I've seen him mind. Sure Hecky has his own opinion.
The problem is that every thread he starts has a topic, but reverts to the same track. He doesn't hijack threads because by his own admission he has no interest in what others post. So effectively he is dumping the same thoughts again and again, with no interest in others opinions. I have defended him several times against people who go too far / get personal, and I have dragged him out of trouble before. Even tonight I have stuck up for him on Site Admin board. I think he makes some good points, I'd even say he knows a bit about football, but if every post is going to revert to the same agenda, then enough is enough. If he can't stop himself, then the threads will be merged or stopped. I'd love to know his opinions on things other than James Bree, yiadom being crap etc. .
I'd be surprised if he's spent an hour on the pitch in all the time at the club. Did well at wolves, was very quick and direct, but other than that I can't remember which games he's played in. Can remember him coming on as a late sub at home and possibly Preston away, but other than that I'm struggling. Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
Hemsie Seriously, for the good of your own mental health - just switch off. You can dress up your witch hunt of Roberts, Winnall and Yiadom however you want to; but every other other poster, reader, watcher on the board knows the bilge that in four or five replies is going to spill from your keyboard. I really [genuinely] wish I knew what motivates you. We have just come off the back of what, as fan, has to be the most enjoyable calendar year in our history. Wembley twice, two wins - I've tried telling my kids how many times I've been to Wembley in all the years I've watched Barnsley and then what they saw this summer. The last eight seasons we had in the championship, yes eight, we mustered no more than 56 points. Yup, 56 points from 46 games was us at our Zenith. Now, at only 24 games, just over half the season we are already on 35 points. Even if we were to draw every single game for the next 22 games that would still give us our best season in the championship for a decade. If our first half form were to continue we'd pick up another 32 points giving us a total of 67 points, that would be our best points total since 1999–2000 [Hignett play-off season] when the league was VERY different. We have done all of this with a squad whose average age is 23. That is PHENOMENAL - why can't you enjoy it? Why must you persevere with this childish, and it is childish, agenda of yours? Roberts had a sh*tter of a game - it happens - it doesn't make him a bad player - In May 2015, he was playing non-league football and now he's in the 6th biggest (in terms of support) league of the world. 18 months Hemsie - 18 months. You ought to be lauding the acumen of the club in making that kind of acquisition but instead you would sooner point out each and every fault purely it seems to stroke your own ego. It's the first (and last) time that I am going to reply to you, but FFS take a look at yourself in the mirror and decide what you're here for. If it's to support your team then great - that's what we're all here for and that doesn't preclude constructive criticismn. I have sat next to the same bloke for 26 years watching the reds and we still disagree on players, formations and so on. But if you're just here to try and provoke a reaction so you can tap your keys furiously and attract a bit of attention - you've got it all wrong fella. We're doing so well but you seem hell bent on bringing us down. Why? What is your agenda? and who does it benefit?
Yeah, perhaps I'm being harsh. Think it was reading home he came on quite late and just looked clumsy. Think he's on a Year loan so hope he can get fit and show just how little i know about football. Thought Vaz Te was ***** his first couple of appearances too!
People have tried being rational, and presenting him with facts on other occasions, but it's like water off a ducks back. I think he needs to start watching the whole of football shows, rather than just the "chewing over the bones" bits where pundits pick over the poor finishing or defending. I'm not going to post about Mr Rimmington much on here because I don't feel I have thing to add that's not already been said about him. The bit's I've seen about him on here are great to read from others. I only ever saw him once away from a match day in the club shop. I can be quite an emotionless person at times but yesterday was a little bit different. The video of him before the game from last season was great to see. Talking to my Grandad today and he said he might have seen him play for Barnsley but wasn't sure.
Would it not have been nice of you just to offer a few of your own words. Half a dozen words would suffice. No one has really said anything different to anyone else but that's not the point.
