    A respected man held in such high esteem by so many hould be honoured with a minutes silence

    I dislike applause - why applaud someone's death, never understood it ?

    I don't think they are applauding the death of a person at all - I just don't find it very respectful - call me old fashioned but simply put I don't get it or like it
