It's not personal Andy. I thought it was something that you and the media team would like this sort of thing. Like a lot of things Manchester City are leading the way.
Hi Phil. You may have missed it but asked you a question. Just wondered what transferable skills your current job gives you. You're very knowledgable on other peoples chosen careers so be great if you could offer your services to the club.
Nothing taken personally. I explained as others have why Man City might be leading the way. Enjoy the match.
Its a particularly condescending attitude that suggests the media team are unaware of YouTube statistics. Its a particularly clueless attitude that suggests we should be matching Man City and repeatedly suggesting poor performance if we dont. If you cannot see the irrelevance in your argument then contrary to the pseudo intellectual view that u attempt to portray, u merely make it apparent that your naievity would make it pretty impossible for u to cope outside your 4 walls and your keyboard, not only in the business world but with life in general. Phew.....I'm done.
Am I though. Or was I making the point that the club should look at SOME of the things they are doing. I pointed out two video's they could do. Something they have done in the past and other than the AA goal at Preston which wasn't imo optomised anyway to gain the max views. It was something the club did 3 years ago with realitve succsess. I said a inside city series would be good for the FANS of the club. They have player and I do watch that but they don't do it on that either. 20 minutes a day filming. 100 minutes. Edit it into a 15 minutes video. Get the key words right and it would do okay.
Have you got that much spare time that you waste it watching pointless YouTube videos from a club you (possibly) don't support?
I certainly don't support any other team. and I don't watch much tv other than sports. I'd say less than 10 hours per week or less
How long do you think it takes to edit 100 minutes of footage into a polished 15 minute production? By the way a large number of youtubers are on less than the minimum wage when you look at their revenue compared to the hours they spend producing the product.
2 hours per day watching none sport TV on top of the time spent watching sport TV is actually a hell of a lot. It's well above the recommended healthy amount
That Adam Armstrong goal was shown EVERYWHERE. The EFL Facebook page, the BFC Facebook page, other random football pages on Facebook, Sky Sports, etc. It wasn't a unique clip that BFC had the exclusivity to, so it wasn't going to wrack up 4 million views from one channel alone. I doubt many people outside of the BFC circle have any interest in any of our "behind the scenes" stuff either. It'd be like PNE producing a video like that aimed at me, or a Donny fan. Pointless.
