No need for Hemsy if you want arrogance. Just look on the Birmingham City Facebook page for what their fans think. I read one comment of praise that we were at them from the start. Alot saying they should be beating teams like us.
Other than after the cup game against Northampton, I've always thought we'd end the season nearer the play-offs than the relegation zone. We'll get beaten as much as we win, but we will win games because we've got goals in us. I don't know what we need to make the next step up at this level because I think we've got good players all over the pitch and it wold cost a lot find better, particularly in wages. A mobile target man wouldn't go a miss, but other than that I like our squad of players. Maybe it's just experience at this level. The experience to make sure we don't get beat when we're not having a good game and the opposition are on top, and the experience to make sure we win when we're the better team. That may come next season if we can hold on to our better players. Tough ask, but possible if we finish midtable.
Hourihane vs Birmingham: - 5 key passes - 4 shots - 3 assists - 2 tackles - 1 interception - 100% dribble success
I have a sneaky feeling that hemsy will use the inclusion of Ryan Kent has his get out of jail free card
There will be some long faces tonight. Winnall gets a brace and Davies pulls a couple of good stops off. Clean sheet as well, some will be reaching for the happy tablets
Cheap shots. Looking forward to The Hemmler's response...Daresay he's been there today unlike most of us.
