Threadstopper was calling me a Happy Clapper and he's right, I am and proud of it. But he also claimed I don't ever complain about the club, so I gave him a few examples of what I didn't like the club has done/is doing, to prove him wrong.
2 trowels eh? Does the "leaf" trowel distinguish you from a brickie? Didn't deny the damaged liver conclusion to the day either did ya?. I saw someone using a spoon to dig artefacts up on tv. Perhaps it was a leaf trowel. (don't do emoticons)
So let's get this real.... Last summer Rovrum about to sign striker. We sign him! Rovrum chairman has 85 managers in 6 months and is bottom of League. Heat is on. So Rovrum chairman knows more than us how much aforementioned striker cost! Dispite a confidentiality agreement! Between 2 clubs. None of which are the one he owns?!? I believe it 100%
This is a leaf trowel, mate. It's used for more delicate work, ie. excavating human remains. <img src ="http://www.archtools.eu/images/detailed/1/silverline-tool-trowel-leaf-small-1.jpg">
Idle archaeologists, idle lawyers, idle teachers? (Jam Drop?)?, ......... is Red Rain retired? We need a drop-in club to meet in the afternoons! Hang on, we'd need to arrange it around the racing!
Let that be a warning not to push me too far, sir! My rippling flab struggling to be confined within a pink wrestling leotard is just a click away!
Chairman? Wasn't it Tony Stewart on the Radio Show tonight? He's the OWNER. Every club in the country will know how much he cost if they wanted to find out. It was a bidding war between the clubs. Patrick Cryne would have known how much Will Vaulks cost because Barnsley had an interest and Falkirk would have wanted to see if Barnsley wanted to bid more.
But other teams can say that they have a championship budget for championship players... so the high admission prices are justified for that reason. Where we get our players from we ort to be the cheapest in the league by a mile, ...Do we charge top wack so we can employ more people behind the scenes to just perpetuate the propaganda?
He wasn't willing to spend that much on Bradshaw, but he claimed he would have bid up to £2million for Lee Gregory. Wouldn't believe much that comes out of Tony Stewart's mouth. If Bradshaw gets a decent run in the starting eleven, he'll prove worth what we paid for him.
Transfers are very open for people within the sport. If you speak to the right person, a football agent when down at the training ground watching the youth teams you'll find out some great info (90% doesn't ever get posted on here). They just say things. Ben Mansford was quite open too at times. There was a agent telling someone behind me(at a youth game) that Brentford were due x amount from the deal less than 24 hours after it happened.
