Mmmmm ..........well if you say you don't question any of the overall strategy then you end up in the JLWBL camp of more or less accepting anything that goes on, regardless. Which is largely based on a philosophy of sufferance, with crumbs of comfort chucked in when we occasionally do well. Which probably is the Barnsley supporter's lot tbh, and most likely representative of what we all should get used to. But I'm not sure that my blind allegiance to supporting my team extends to keeping quiet about sticking Moncur, Lee, etc. on the payroll when it's cost us a bit and they don't seem to fit our modus operendi. Questioning what's going on is what this board is about. Stop calling me Shirley an all.
Get out of the ancient crypt/grave and tell us all owt that you don't like about bfc. After 32,338 posts.
Didn't realise I was answerable to you, but here goes. I don't like the pay on the day prices that were announced in the Summer, I don't like the failure of the club shop to stock enough replica shirts & other quality items to meet the demands of their fan base, I don't like the persistent failure of the tannoy system in the Ponty End. Also, I don't like fans who are quick to criticise players when it suits them, but then squeal like spoilt, little bitches when the players have a go back.
Oh, and a good 30,000 posts were on how much I disliked John McSeveney, Jim Iley (at the time), Nigel Spackman, Steve Parkin, Paul Hart and Simon Davey.
Well you are answerable to anyone who posts on here ovo, if you're posting your views. "Bitches" is a bit politically incorrect, apparently. Please be more politically incorrect in future.
I don't like getting chared £38 at leeds or Hillsborough £32 at ipswich and so on. Club did right if you cant beat em join em and we'll done to em on the flexi ticket and freezing season tickets.
I was thinking of our own fans at the time (which is why I emphasised during the Summer) who aren't in a position to purchase season tickets rather than fleecing the supporters of other clubs and believe, on reflection, so did the club. Which is why they introduced the flexi-ticket.
All of em are idle, squatting down with a spoon or summat and waddling it around in the ground, hour after hour, till it's time to do summat useful like consume alcohol. They're no different to the rest of us.
Fair enough right thing to do even though some disagreed at the time. I would have been pissed off had we been charged 38 at Elland road and we let 6k of them in for 20 quid. People often moan about the club someone about a month back said no kids away shirts in and won't be getting any again now, I went in before the wigan game got my 5 year old the away shirt for Xmas and they printed the name while the game was on I picked it up after..... Maybe I'm a happy clapper. You do have a point with the tannoy thing though.
