Lets not beat around the bush.. Embarrassing performances from both. No chemistry between them at all. Not sure what was wrong with them tonight but it needs sorting. Let their teammates down. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
2 headers in the centre of the goal, soft second goal inside six yard box, I agree centre halves cost us today, also Davis - getting beat on his non-wall side from a free kick-schoolboy stuff
Jackson was really poor tonight. Got beaten in the air again and again. Just don't see what he brings over MacDonald who is stronger, better in the air, quicker and makes fewer mistakes.
People will blame scowern for the 2nd goal but my 5year old son could have played a better ball to josh than jackson did. Also marley let us down with the stamp we were still in the game until then.
Agree not sure why Macdonald has been dropped felt him and Roberts were solid enough and improving nicely as a partnership. Jackson poor bringing it out from the back so not sure why he gets in as hes weaker in the air too. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
We are suffering from not replacing Mawson. At this stage of their development neither Jackson nor MacDonald are good enough. There's plenty of time for them just not now.
"Embarassing" is a bit strong, but I'm generally in agreement that they weren't great. Certainly that's the worst I've ever seen Roberts play for us. I genuinely think that we need to break recruitment policy and sign an experienced ball-playing centre half to play alongside Roberts. I know he's not exactly a ball player, but had we had somebody with Darren Moore's experience and nous at the back tonight, there's not a snowball in hell's chance we would have lost. Forest had one good player in Lansbury. He needed marking, and we didn't do it.
I felt embarrassed that I've bigged up Roberts to my Wendy and Leeds scum mates and then he performs like that live on sky. It was strange. Very lacklustre and not full blooded. Worst he's played since Rochdale away but tonight I felt he lacked effort and had poor body language. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
He wasn't great, but I thought he got pulled all over the place due to not really having confidence in Jackson's positioning. We need an experienced and wily centre half. Our recruitment policy is generally excellent, but right now needs must.
Yep Jackson doesn't help but Roberts still has to take responsibility for crosses coming into his area. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
He won every ball in the air and most of the time had to cover for Jackson. He can't do it all, think Angus should start.
Amazing how you just ignore their 1st 2nd and 3rd goal where Roberts was ball watching on every cross. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
