just one question.... Rooney

He's far better than Alli. Think it was Xavi who said he's good enough to play for Barca. Hes lost his way a little but who wouldnt playing under Roberto Martinez?

He's currently 10x the player Rooney is.

A true quality player should be able to perform despite the manager especially when there's been so much talk about building the Everton team around him. He's not done anything to prove any other wise. Koeman even says he needs to step up and I can guarantee that he knows more about Barkley than Xavi does. (Don't forget Pep said Stones was good enough for Barca as well and would be one of the world's best Centre backs in the future but I doubt you'd quote something that wouldn't support your agenda). Alli is younger than Barkley and has actually proved himself at whatever level he's been at so far in his career and I doubt anyone would say Barkley has lived up to the hype. Don't forget Rooney has won numerous trophies over the years and individual awards and had won alot more at this stage in his career, Barkley has won nothing, proved nothing and frankly is a very average player most of the time

 

I think technically Barkley's a better player than Alli, he's 2 footed, he's powerful, he can dribble past people but the truth is he's not really delivering, Alli is & has been for well over a season.

I'd be disappointed if Rooney goes to the World Cup because it'd mean one of Alli & Barkley are injured or not fulfilling their potential

 

granted he sprays passes around but too often they just look good and are pretty ineffectual , he lays a ball the width of the pitch but by the time it gets there the opposition has adjusted. For me we need somebody who can play the insightful balls to get somebody in on goal a lot quicker
