    Crowdfunder now reached £190.

in view of my misreading of the 18ft by 12ft flag for £375 (actually 13ft by 8ft - I must have been hallucinating) and that the time is getting short, I think a decision needs to be made.

Give it chance, you only set the page up today! Also, two people have already said that they will cover the cost of a bigger flag if needed. www.footballingflags.co.uk do flags at alright prices. Now sure why you keep persisting with the small £50 flag idea, I think everyone was unaminous that that is much too small.

I'm quite happy to leave it going but as of friday we'd be struggling to get anything done in time for the following saturday.

Your link didn't work for me. I'll resort to google.....

    I agree completely Jamdrop.

It has to be big. It's a waste of effort (and money) otherwise as no-one would be able to read it - pointless!

I go even bigger than 4m x 2.4m if we can fund it. Let's do it properly! If it takes a bit longer to get it then so be it. I think we've agreed that it will be more a tribute to Patrick than a get well soon message so it doesn't matter if we have to wait a bit longer.

Brush - none of this is a criticism - I appreciate you getting this going and progressing it.

An impassioned appeal to everyone though - lot of people are enthusiastic about this and are stumping up money, let's do it properly and get a flag we're proud of and can use for a long time rather than one that immediately falls into disrepute because it's too small.

I can already see this moving across the Ponty every match pre kick off.

PS - Look at this page:http://www.true-faith.co.uk/gallowgate-flags-huge-surfer-flags-fundraising/

Let's get the Patrick one done first but wouldn't it be great to then get some others to improve the atmosphere at Oakwell? It'd be great to see the Ponty awash with flags alá when we were at Wembley.....

www.footballflags.co.uk can do it for delivery next friday but I have to place the order and upload the artwork today.

    £360, 20ft by 10ft.

    Design suggestions accepted.

That would be a good idea but most people have suggested the Wigan match.

I've been thinking about this a bit more. Don't want to go all Wednesday but it really does need to be MASSIVE. At least 10m long, so it can be passed around over the heads of fans rather than hung somewhere. I also think the Forest match would be better as it gives more time and it's televised (as others have said).

I've no idea about suppliers though and my funding offer still stands whatever the final decision is.

Personally I think we should take our time and agree on a design. As long as the flag is ready for TV coverage against Forest that's the important thing for everyone to see.

That's about 7m x 3.5m. I still think we could go bigger if available, but that would be a pretty impressive one anyway.

10m?! Not sure companies print that big, the £360 seems like the minimum to aim for (6.1m x 3.05m) with the £400 (6.1m x 3.65m) or £500 (7.3m x 3.65m) one a bigger target depending on funds.

    Just hit £200.

There is obviously a MASSIVE (I'm going all Wendy now) affection for Patrick on here.

    Men always exaggerate.

In view of the funds the £500 one will be fine. Really hope this comes off, can't wait to see it!

Anyone done a bit of a twitter campaign? Asking players to RT the link? Probably plenty of fans who will donate who don't visit the BBS.

I don't use Twitter but this would be a good idea.... and as for size bigger the better for me even if it doesn't arrive until the forest game. The fund is going really well I think only been on scince this morning and already got £220
