That's what I expected. Plenty of options off the bench then to change shape & energy, where required.
Would have been harsh to drop Morsy.

Agreed, just Lee's inclusion on the bench that I would question.
I haven't seen him play yet myself but from the commentary and subsequent reports, I wonder if it's better to have one of our own youngsters like Jacob Brown in there.

Only started listening to Player at 20 past 3 as I was late back. 2 breaks in the "live and uninterrupted commentary" so far, for 2 goals at Hillsborough.

Great to hear a "proper fan" commentating though. COYR!

For those of us still on the fence about signing up what do you mean about two breaks for Wednesday news? They cut away?

I'm not listening on Player (it's Radio Sheffield so I'd rather listen to the commentary on the online stream) but yeah, they leave our match to go to the commentator at different matches. I'm just going back through the commentary now (you can slide back to earlier) and I landed right on the bit where they cut on Chesterfield v Colchester match.

Edid: Oh, they've just gone to Sheff Weds and now Rotherham 30secs later whilst I was typing.

I'm listening on player and it's still the radio Sheffield commentary.

I thought that the club had announced that they'd agreed that when we were FM games then Matt would do commentary instead without any cut aways?

Now you mention it it's not Matt, you're right, in truth I've no idea who it is but he did sound very much on our side in the few minutes I listened.

I don't know what happened in the first 20 minutes, but they cut away for both goals at Hillsborough, despite the promise of "live uninterrupted commentary" when I signed back up. To be fair though, it was only a minute or so and only for a goal - up to know they haven't left our match for "round the ground" reports.

Please see my other reply. I appear to have had an attack of premature congratulations...

Where I'd slid the slider back it landed on around the 20th minute of our match (they commented that it was 23mins) and I heard 3 cut aways (only a few seconds at a time admittedly) during two minutes of listening.

I've no idea why I posted what I did, it's not Matt at all. Great to be kept up to date on Colchester v Chesterfield though.

That's actually quite good. I will use that as my ringtone from now on.
