Didnt see that one coming but well done to the lad. Www.ghanasportonline.com Apologies if already posted.
Good for him, guessing it's through parents? Issue being the African Cup of Nations is in January so potentially he'll be away for a month.
Even better, he's the seventh best dribbler in the Championship! http://pulse.com.gh/sports/andy-yia...now-about-black-stars-debutant-id5704423.html
Very possibly, he's not been picked for this one but if he keeps playing like he is we made need at least a midfielder and a full back in january
We have aidy white and cole kwapka as cover for andy yidom. And have decent cover in central midfield if all fit.
Well done to andy yidom few off days but seems to have found his feet now at this level and this past month has been exellent.
What happens if White and Bree get injured and Yiadom is away, we then have one full back who some people don't rate and who's not played 10 games anywhere in his career, also if Morsy is away then we only have Hourihane, Scowen and Kay, two of whom who've already missed games and are not averse to getting sent off/suspended leaving just Kay who to the this point has played one senior game. When we everyone is it we're fine for full backs and central midfielders but if we have and injury crisis etc. there our weakest areas
I see what you are saying was just saying if everyone is fit we don't need cover as we already have it but yes I agree if bree or white get injured which is common we will need cover for full back positions.
I went to quite a few games when the Cup of Nations was staged in Egypt including the final and it was absolutely fantastic far better than any World Cup I've been to so that seems a little overly judgemental. The bloated 2016 version of the European championship is far worse. The modern day Coppa America form the couple of games I've been to seems formatted to make it much worse.
Great for him but bad for us if we miss him for the whole of January. Not as bad as Newcastle though who could lose around half a dozen players to the African Cup Of Nations.
Luckily the window will be open by then. We already needed to bolster our centre midfield and defensive cover, after their lack of experienced depth was exposed by recent injuries and suspensions.
