People possible think you are obsessed with race and migration because on a football site you constantly boringly **** on about either one or the other all the ******* time. This would probably make people think you have an unnatural obsession with it. You respond to people who disagree with you aggressively and feel the need to attack them. Again maybe you are just an angry wangry but again makes either people respond in kind or dismiss you. The fact that you don't acknowledge the conflict between your views and your position as an economic migrant again makes it hard to take you seriously. You are lucky. Your country hasn't been bombed your family hasn't been killed. You are relatively wealthy it doesn't make you a better migrant.

Come on post summat about Joe Joyce's tache or the unbearable lightness of being Matty Appleby. Lead a discussion on the relative merits of Stewart Barraclough and Adam Hammill. Anything but yet another rant about migration. I mean I'm sure Ukip or Britain First have sites specifically dedicated to hating migrants if you actually need your 4 minute hate to get you through the day.

I have a solution to a lot of the non EU migrants stop bombing the **** out of their countries.

Stop arming insurgents who agree with you and killing those who don't. Stop invading countries on the pretence of acting as a policeman but in reality to protect oil supplies or vested interests.

Slow down, I said nothing of the sort. In no way did I seek to imply your pension should be stopped.

I was merely seeking to highlight that any movement of people across borders can be characterised as a drain of resources and it's a bit hypocritical to appear so concerned about the negative economic effect of immigration (putting aside the debate as to whether there is a negative effect at all) when your emigration also has a negative economic effect. It's never so simple as saying immigrants come in without papers/skills, immigrants need benefits, therefore immigrants are bad for the country. Refugees and immigrants have been shown time and again to be net contributors to the economy, notwithstanding the fact that there may be an initial cost in the state providing benefits.

I'm not arguing about the substance of the debate, as I find it tiresome to say the least and I'm totally fed up of it. If it crops up in my local I just take my pint and phone, go and sit in a corner and mess about on Farcebook. It just struck me that you do appear to try to belittle your opponents sometimes, that's all. I'll keep my nose out from now on.

I detest such debates because we all have our views, and after a debate has finished, whether civil or not, we all have the same views. None of us change them, so what's the point of the debate? It's just a complete waste of valuable time.

1 Ah. So you resort to swearing and responding agressively

2 I act aggressively - and feel the need to attack. Really ? Surely the nature of debate not to meekly roll over when someone tries to bully you into submission with personal comments in Lieu of reasoned argument (unlike some of those you appear to side with who resort to words like racist, bigot, etc). Of course I react when people who do not know me call me those things

3 Football forum you say.., Did you not start a thread about Orgreave recently??

4 My latest thread was about the problems in Italy brought on by economic and humanitarian impact of Earthquakes (under reported on the BBC) and the migrant influx (also under reported on the BBC) It was simply a request for people to spare a thought for the sufferning going on here. It appears the compassion shwon to migrants from outside the EU does not extend to EU member states in what hazs been declared a disaster zone 30000 now displaced and homeless in Central Italy in the past couple of weeks. This turned into the usual racism/migrant argument and NOT by me.

5 If you could be bothered to look back you would see I did not instigate many of the migrant/race posts but, as I said, I will not be insulted and provoked without responding. I do not swear, defame (and calling someone racist IS defamation and libellous if the target's real name is used)

As for being Left Wing as you state in another thread. Well, I would hate to see what your definition of a Left Wing Socialist is.

Anyway as has often been stated, you don't have to read my posts if you find them so annoying. bye.

Again with the aggression there are courses you know chicken.

90 percent of my posts will be about football the ones I start whereas I'm guessing none of yours are. The clues in the title it's a football forum. If I post outside of that it will generally be issues pertaining to Barnsley for example Orgreave again the clues in the name of the forum.

Sorry MF I should have been clearer. The reference to Expat retirees having their pensions stopped did not come from you, nor was it in this thread. Tt comes from one of the more ...ahem...radical poster on this BB who turns everything into a migrant/racism thread. (And I am NOT referring to Jimmy Cricket if he should read this). He does though accuse me of hatred towards migrants although, for the life of me I have never ever said that. It is simply not true, rather that I have concerns about how society and Government, particularly here in Italy can cope financially and culturally with the deluge of migrants. No-one can argue that in the long term assimilation is possible and beneficial but like rain. reasonable regular amounts are good, even essential but a flood is highly destructive.

Are you certain I Started all those? Smoking in plain packaging I certainly do not recall. In any case you don't have to read them. Do you read every single article in the paper or do you read what interests you? The fact that it provokes such a response seems to suggest you like a good argument.

interesting you found it was worth while spending time collating that. Well done.

On a serious non contentious note how do you find threads started by someone? I can only find posts I made in total i.e. those threads I started as well as those started by others which I commented on

EDIT: forget it I found it. in all fairness these 'recent posts' go back a few months and some implying politics wre actually not serious stuff. Although EEk I do clearly go on a bit.

    I will rein it in I promise:redface:

    Why ?...
    "Racist" accusation IS defamatory:
Comedian Frankie Boyle in 'Racist' Slur Libel Win Against Daily Mirror ... is not a "<wbr>racist comedian" ruled the High Court, after he sued the Daily ... Scottish comedian Boyle was awarded £50,400 by Justice Eady in the case.

It can be defamatory but is only actionable if it causes loss or damage.

Maybe hatred is too strong a word on reflection (though it is how it sometimes comes across) maybe obsessional is more accurate. I haven't been so single mired on a subject since I used to write poems to Owen Archdeacon.
