Guessing you haven't watched him that much. Yes, he's very inconsistent. But my God is he entertaining to watch with the ball at his feet. At the end of the day, that's what I go to football for, to watch immensely skilled footballers and be entertained. Quite possibly one of the most skilful players I've seen in all my years watching city

We had a player called Paddy McCourt last time we were in the Champ, he on his day was outstanding and was one of the most techinically gifted players I've ever watched, but he never really turned up and never out in the hard work, what I can tell is a similar case with Tomlin, so it doesn't really matter how much talent he has in his boot because he has no work ethic or consistency in his body

Tomlins been in the championship for so long. He's nothing like this McCourt bloke, who the **** is he anyway? Tomlins proved himself, and a club like yours would wish he could play for you. Let's be honest here. And you say he has no work ethic? You're wrong, he works hard for the team, it may not look like it with the size of him, but he does.

You mean that club like ours whose 2 man midfield dominated your illustrious 3 all game. Yep, with our 2 reserve centre mids in there, one of whom was making his first professional start.

Aye, clubs like ours really want lazy, diving Tomlin to play for us.

    Teams like Barnsley, ey.

1.) I said Tomlin has found his level mid-table Championship, you then countered that with he's played in the Championship for years, proving my point
2.) Paddy McCourt played for Celtic in the Champions League and has numerous league winners medals, which is a damn site more than Tomlin has ever done
3.) "A club like yours", you mean a club who's played at the same level or the level above you for every season except last season for something like 35 years, who this season are 4 points behind you on a minute percentage of your budget, with a much smaller squad. We have a better fan base considering the size of the town/city we are based in and clubs we are situated near to.
4.) No I can guarantee you a tiny percentage/if any of the fan base would want Tomlin and I know that the manager and the board certainly wouldn't sign him.
5.) I'd like to see some stats about how far he runs, his defensive contributions and how much he actually does in a match because I can bet it would be very poor.

I for one wouldn't want 'a club like mine' to sign Tomlin. Maybe he's better off at a club like yours.

When I'm feeling particularly ambitious I often employ managers who have guided a side to the bottom of league 1 and taken them on the longest losing streak in living memory.

A young English manager, rated highly among the biggest clubs, who proved he can build a team. What your forgetting is the long winning streak after the loses.

I'm not forgetting anything. I'm remembering how **** he was and how we only started winning AFTER he was put under immense pressure and thankfully agreed to have Adam hammock signed and was then pressured into changing tactics and abandoning his entire football philosophy.

Which of the biggest clubs rate him highly? Any evidence to support such a ridiculous claim?

Well for a start Man City offered him a ten year contract to run their academy, which says something. Bye
