Anyone had one? what the chuff is the best thing for the pain, had pain killers but don't seem to work. Doc's in the morning me thinks.
As strong a painkiller as you can get mate. Codeine (but continue to eat/drink plenty as can constipate), Tramadol strongest I'm aware of. Buscopan can also help. Usually for bowel spasm but can sometimes reduce spasm associated with renal colic too. You've got my sympathy and definitely go see your doctor. And if the pain is unbearable, go to A&E. One of the severest pains you can ever experience, they'll treat you in A&E as a priority most of the time.
I pissed one out once and that was slightly painful but not before that, must have been lucky. Just seen this on Twitter: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/asia/china/11661711/Doctors-remove-420-kidney-stones-caused-by-excessive-tofu-from-patient-in-China.html
do not go OTT with the water little and often fella. If you drink too much in one go it can do harm. But yes plenty of water but as I say little and often.
Labour pains are the closest a woman will get to knowing manflu. Sent via Royal Mail and typed up by my Tapatalk byatch
After 6 or 7 three night stays in hospital they sent me to the Hallamshire to have them blasted with laser treatment. That must be 8 or 9 years ago, not had a problem since.
First time I had kidney stones, I had no warning, just pain and a week in Pinderfields either zonked out on a morphine drip or tramadol or in absolute agony. The stones were too big to pass naturally and had to be smashed with lazer. Second time I had some warning. No pain to start but constant urge to pee, even with empty bladder, then the pain but this time they passed on their own. The pain will come and go as long as their in your kidneys or pipes. Keep drinking plenty of water to help flush them through. Oh, and my deepest sympathies. I've never been in so much pain in my life. Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
Cheers mate, al leave it till morning though as our doctor's a very good at same day emergency appointments, the pain is awesome but painkillers have started helping a bit, cheers
I had one in May this year Excruciating pain. I went to A&E was admitted and they put a stent in. I then had to wait 8 weeks to have the stone laser fragmented. When it was lasered, they put another stent in to allow the fragments to come out. That was taken out 4 weeks later. In between times I was dashing to the bog for a pee every 5 minutes. Walsall away in the playoffs and Wembley were decidedly uncomfortable I can tell you. I didn't get to the home leg against Walsall because I only got out of hospital the day before. The sooner you get it sorted the better mate. I had intravenous paracetamol and a pessary (can't remember what it was though) in A&E, it took an hour to take the pain away.
Re: I had one in May this year My experience was the same as Brush. Put a stent in and then back in hospital for a day about 6 weeks later, and loads of pain killers. Get to A & E
