    Nurses and footballers aren't paid from the same pot of money. If you're arguing in favour some kind of socialist fantasy then I'm afraid I can't take you seriously. If we're ranking people in terms of contributions to society, footballers pay for far more nurses etc than you ever will. I'm sure you'll never agree that this makes them better people than you.

    Agree here and I'm about as left as they come. Don't think that's the point he was making like, but...

    You can see from the slip, year to date he's paid 31m in tax. More than everyone who posts on here will pay in their entire lives, put together.

    Speaking of, should this not be removed as it's highly illegal?

    I was talking about the value the individual brings to society. Of course I didn't think I would have to spell this out for the terminally difficult of understanding. So you evaluate a persons value on a financial basis. I probably pay more in taxes than you. Next time we are both sick I deserve treatment first I suppose. In schools I should get to pick the best teachers for my kids. Maybe the local streetlights should switch on just for me. Being able to kick a ball round doesn't make a person better than a Neuro Surgeon or cancer specialist.if yo can't see that then I can't take you seriously.
