That is seriously embarrassing. Someone in the media team is trying way too hard. The type of idea you'd expect from an 8 year old. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

You must be easily embarrassed. Granted, its a bit different and would have worked better without the letters and pictures but "seriously embarrassing"?
Yeah still not "seriously embarrassing" The mirror take on it did make me chuckle a bit. http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/row-zed/barnsley-try-out-new-way-9073468 "And as Barnsley's social media intern sat crying in the corner, the club then released their team in a more conventional manner."
National embarrassment is serious. I cant believe a grown adult came up with this and thought it was a good idea.
It's a bit **** and pretty pointless but it isn't designed to be difficult; it is just bit of an alternative take on the starting line-up.
No publicity is bad publicity. Sometimes you do daft stuff on Social Media to get folk talking. Bet their follower count went up yesterday & it's absolutely harmless.
It wasn't intended to be as difficult as the Times crossword - it was just a bit of fun with the starting line-up.
Even then - I don't think the club came out of that in a bad light at all. Tommy Wright did. In fact, I think the fact they acted so swiftly in dealing with it meant those in charge came out of it with real credit.
