Walker - speedy and err.. that's it.. distribution aimless
Rose - not creative going forward - see Walker re: distribution
Stones - faultless ovo
Cahill - keeps getting caught on the ball
Walcott - lacks a footballing brain
Henderson - a kind of midfield Rooney without the skill
Rooney - the new Butch Wilkins
Sturridge - brilliant - for 10 seconds each game
Lingard - would look effective in the Championship
Alli - crafty - a bit of a Martin Peters

Overall, nowt to advance the pulse.

Disagree. Technically we're as good as most teams, the problem is that we seem to lack a winning mentality, and can't cope with the pressure at major tournaments

 

The truth often hurts.

I do support them nevertheless.

 

We lack focus and desire because players care more about their image rights and how they are perceived than they do about being the absolute best at their profession

The biggest problem is the fans expecting too much. And Stones isn't faultless, he's far from it.

Agreed, they need new blood in the team and a manager who can motivate them, won't happen with an interim manager, just hope we get someone in charge with imagination, but that's against all the principles of the FA

 

I "expect" the bunch of overpaid tossers to care because I bloody would.

 

Fans expectation is driven by the fa and the players.

Players secure sponsorship deals and happily advertise products in advertisements proclaiming them to be the best and to be heroes and they go on TV shows and gameshow where they are hailed as heroes and the best in the world. The fa love to push this perception on their website, with their premier league and with big money payments to the 'top' clubs and players and it's all a big circle that revolves around money.


They perpetuate the myth that we are brilliant but in reality they are making the players less focused on being the best footballers, fans are simply buying the hype that the fa and players themselves generate

 

Worst midfield since carlton palmer and kevin richardson. Alli, lingard, shrek and hendo ****ing awful. God we miss gerrard, scholes, becks and fat frank

 

This is what we are missing our own usual ritual team supporting weekend for.
