I hope so. It would be like a new signing tbh. A big fan of him and think he could really add something to our squad.
He's a year younger than Lloud Isgrove and has played 3 more competitive games than Lloyd. Thats shows poor player management on Southamptons part but also that Williams hasn't fallen too far behind.
I'd be surprised. I would have thought he's still a fair bit off. Really hope he gets back on track, whether it's with us or not
I didn't really expect to see him at all this season. Word from the club is he's looking really sharp.
He looked sharp in a behind closed doors kick about at Old Trafford yesterday. I'm not sure it's 'word from the club' either. Just an opinion. We won't see him this side of Christmas if you ask me, but could start seeing him play regularly for the U23's which would be the next positive step.
I'm intrigued. If Williams is closer than you think, why do you think that way. There is no point, you just look foolish, thinking something that you think is wrong. Why don't you knock a few weeks off what you think. But would he be closer than you think then, in which case, knock a few more weeks off and continue to do so until he is exactly on track with what you think. In which case your statement would read that Williams is exactly on track with what I think, which would make more sense and co-incidentally, is exactly what I think, but I will be only too happy to tell you if he is earlier or later than I thought, but only when I know for certain. Until then, no-one will know, not even me. Lloyd Isgrove is not Lloud, by the way. I have heard him interviewed.
Most of us think he will not play again this season or for us ever again. Therefore if it was after Christmas then it would be closer than we think. The poster thinks he is closer to a comeback after a report from a club insider about him playing in a behind closed doors match this week and playing very well. But will still be a while building up match sharpness so unlikely to play next week. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I don't see him as an out and out winger like hammill or do I see him as playing off a main striker. I believe he fits in the right hand side of a 433 either midfield or striking 3 and we don't play that way so not sure where he would fit in. Be interesting to see where he plays in the under 23s so you are probably right as they should play to replicate the first team and they seem the logical positions.
The ironic thing about that is Lloyd was one of the most boisterous lads in the group last season. Probably beaten only by Jak McCourt. The rest I don't have a clue what you're talking about.
