S l o update new flag

    Further to previous SLO update, regarding new flag.

    The club wants to sort this asap and feedback from fans todate is more or less the same.

    Red Flag

    Town emblem/ coat of arms

    Wording only Barnsley Football Club or 1887 or both.

    Obviously the more words the smaller they would be and we have to bear in mind the flag will be above West Stand, so will be difficult to read from a distance.

    Any other thoughts? Hoping to sort design by end of week.

    In all seriousness, red with club crest sounds fine.

    Can the flag have the words "Bar Staff Required" on it?

    Not in latin though as this might hinder the number of potential applicants.

    Can we have an inter-changeable flag that gives updates on latest scores.

    Would have saved thousands on a new scoreboard.

    I think when we have an "awareness" period we should change the flag to reflect it. I.e. Breast cancer awareness.

    Great idea. Some ground fixing points and fill it with flags. Some works of art flags out there. Good shout and a unique touch.

    Ray suggest to Linton he should get the club to pay for a Leeds design agency, preferably with little or no connection to Barnsley, to come up with some options? Perhaps we could have a vote and then replace it with the design we had previously? ;)
