Is this common knowledge?

I have to agree, I wanted to book two places in the Legends suite to watch the Rotherham game for me and my father. He is 83 and needs to use a wheel chair so I phoned to book it and asked about the facilities for disabled. The person I spoke to (Hospitality number) did not know what the the facilities were or even if they could accommodate someone in a wheel chair. He said he would find out and call me back. Needless to say he didn't bother, I never received a return call.

 

We sit in east upper, family stand. They only put the hot water on 5 mins befor kickoff on Tuesday. My uncle had a good rant about it at the time.

 

I go to football matches to watch football. I go to pubs to drink beer. I go to cafes to drink coffee. I can do without any liquid intake for a couple of hours. I therefore have no problem with the club and its organisation.

 

Lots of people go to the cinema to watch a film but they still expect to be able to get popcorn and drinks. For some people refreshments are part and parcel of the experience.

 

thats ok then fella the club and its chosen catering contractor can continue along with its head in the sand because you are ok. one person. just you. well done nothing to see here.

seriously gets me this, i dont buy anything partly because its overpriced, partly because im usually fed and watered beforehand and partly because they now have a reputation for being generally rubbish. if they sold things that people wanted at decent prices in an orderly and quick manner im sure folk like me would be willing to spend money.

 

I think the organisations terrible. If you don't want to miss any of the action & rush to join the queue as soon as the half time whistle goes it takes almost the whole of half time to get a drink.

They only have 6 staff on spread over 2 counters to serve all of the fans sat in the East Upper. It's terrible service.

Saw the bloke in front of me turn away empty handed and thought "at least I'll not be affected as I only want a drink."

How wrong I was.

Same story 45 minutes before kick off too. We're you actually told the water wasn't 'ready'? If so how does that work? He can it be not ready at least 30 minutes after they were aware it wasn't ready first time

 

Yes, she just said the water wasn't ready. It was about 20 minutes before kick off so 25 minutes after you by the sound of it.
