I'm sure when the multi multi millionaire needs business tips off Tyke_67

We were never taking 5000. Barnsley took only 3600 to another SY team last season

Aye, but that was in L1, averaging 9000 home fans. This season I think we would have got more than the 2, 300 if the price was significantly lower as I was trying to show. A point that you have obviously struggled with.

    Derr!!! Yerbut! Using your argument 2, 000 * £37 = £74, 000 BUT...

even 3000 minimum likely for Leeds in the Championship if we managed 3600 in the 1st Div last season giving how well we are going at the moment would generater ticket sales of 3000 x 25 = £75,000. MANY people said they would have paid £30 so 3000 x 30 = £90k

Minuses = more admin cost, possibly more policing / stewarding costs but offset, surely by better atmosphere, generate more sales in stadium drinks food etc (assuming they are reasonably priced) So yes, given the comments recently of many who cannot afford or wont pay that much on principal Cellino DOES need advice on how to run a football club. besides if you look at how many Italian companies are run, just because he is a multi-millionaire doesn't make him a great businessman - just a bit dodgy at wheeler dealing!

Do you reckon that, given we took 3600 to a south Yorkshire club in League 1, we might have taken that number to Leeds in the championship when the team are doing so well?. Sounds like a minimum we could have expected if the prices were normal to me.

    3600 x £25 = £90k.

its fairly basic maths really. They are trying to bank on the fact that people will turn up no matter the cost but some of us (a large number of us) have better things to spend money on. Leeds' loss. No skin off my nose.

I made the same point to Hemsy in another thread yesterday (see above).

And I think we would have taken significantly more than that to Leeds this year .

I hardly think that a convicted fraudster who has made millions ILLEGALLY and has been banned from football more than once for his illegal business activities is a good example of business. I'd say he needs business tips off a lot of people as he is clearly incapable of operating one without having to resort to crime
