In the short term could be pretty hard. There's no doubt a lot of trust that has been broken and that might be hard to rectify.

Wright has dug his own football grave and made himself unemployable. We can find another assistant coach, but the players might find this hard to take.

You could be right, but this is going to be a huge test of Heckys managerial skills and I have a good feeling that with the help of a new assistant manager that we will be okay. In Hecky we trust!

People said same after Johnson and then Mansford left. Different circumstances I know but I reckon footballers just get on with things. Plus I trust PH to motivate and inspire lads to take advantage of the situation

I hope it acts to make that trust between Hecky and the players just that bit stronger. The trust between Hecky and Tommy has been broken and Hecky will feel betrayed - the players will know this too and in a siege mentality kind of way they may want to put the extra few % in to show Hecky that they are still with him.

I'm sure the players get on with Tommy but he's in his 50's & I highly doubt he's that close to any of them. I'm pretty sure it'll be business as usual for most if not all of them

They accept people move on. But having an assistant involved in a successful promotion and all that entails suddenly being shown to be crooked and effectively breaking players trust is another. But I hope it's at worst, a temporary distraction.

No one said after Johnson left. The only thing I heard was thank **** for that

And why would anyone say anything after the office manager left

Get behind them and stop looking for things that are not about.

We've got a fantastic team and a brilliant manager

IMO it's no different to a manger being sacked and you are making far too much of it.
You can't always make more of a story than already heard.
Reckon the players, who are very professional, will stand up and be counted just like this squad has a few times in the last year.

It obviously is different to a manager Beng sacked though in that if a manager is sacked it is usually because he's failed at his job and not been good enough. Tommy **** has been caught on camera admitting that he was willing to (and possibly did) trick the players into changing their agents to a bunch of bent *******s who would then be able to control the player and leave them feeling unable to leave that cut of a bent *******.

If I was cnor hourihane or Alfie mawson or any others who he had approached and tried to betray I would be seething. In fact he would already have had legal papers

    Fair point and I agree.
I didn't make it clear but was coming more from the angle that I don't think it would effect their performances, seething or not

Hecky and Tommy both lifted the play-off trophy together at Wembley and I'm glad they did because I'm sure they were both equally responsible for our success.

I'm deeply disappointed in what has come out and, at the risk of repeating what has already been said in a million different threads on here, we need all our staff to be doing things by the book, whether they are doing it in the interests of the club, themselves, or a combination of the two, we aren't like that as a club, we never have been. We've never even employed time-wasting or diving in our play, any player who has is swiftly out of the door.

I'll always maintain a bit of respect for Tommy, it would have been very easy for him to p*ss off and join Lee at Bristol, who some would argue have more chance to progress from this league than us, and maybe earn more money, certainly more than this five grand every few month he was going to get, it's all very confusing.

I can't wait to here his side of the story.
