And all others connected with our great club, past and present, given what's happened tonight. Can only imagine the depth of betrayal PC, and Hecky, are feeling. PC in particular has been on a hell of a journey in the last decade and just when things are looking rosy.....

When this sort of thing trickles down to "Clubs like Barnsley", it reinforces all that is wrong with football.

I just feel rather sad about it. I know there'll be plenty of other clubs and individuals to come out in the open, but I don't care about them. I care and love this bloody club and to have its name and hard earned good reputation tarnished like this is pretty disheartening.

Indeed. The only constant in all of this. Know exactly the point you're making.

Don't get me wrong. It's got to be gutting for PC and everyone at the club like you say. But fans are being priced out all over the country for this sort of thing.

I wonder what the conversation was when they found out...'Boss, Tommys phoned in sick, he says he's a bit bunged up'

Agree with that, but I do have some sympathy for him in respect of being kicked in the teeth by this. It's how I'd feel I think. But yep, he's done the right thing, and quickly.

Was only referring to his involvement with BFC. Point taken though.

I'm in business & I'm not as successful was Mr Cryne.

If someone lets me down I take action.

I'm proud of Barnsley, Mr Cryne & Hecky. If the allegations are right I'm sorry Tommy Wright has f@@ked up, but be it a warning to others in football.
We pay their wages & this sh!te needs to stop.

Agree 100% - I am sickened that the name of Barnsley FC will be all over the press now for the wrong reasons. Proper sick about it. Gutted. And very bloody angry. Can't imagine how PC must feel, attending meetings lined up by one of his employees and then finding out he was being taken for a fool. I'd want to kick his arse down Grove Street if I were PC.

No one who has BFC in their heart deserves to be entangled in things like this. It goes against everything that the club has built over recent years/months.

The whole footy community had us as a third team (after their own and Leicester) and I hope one mans possible disgressions don't taint the folk that do truly have BFC in their blood

Sack Tommy, by the end of today and act fast for his replacement. Don't let this overshadow what we have achieved these past 12 months, it's meetings that happened in August of this year and nobody was signed or changed agents through it, luckily the Telegraph have exposed it early doors.

I don't feel sorry for him at all, never liked him, got rich out of selling the NHS an IT system that didn't work, that was a load of money that could have otherwise gone to patients.

Funny how the "socialists" on here never have anything to say about that though.
