Looks like he thinks he's a cross between David Beckham and George Best. All hype, no substance so far. But the money he's on has already made him a very very wealthy young man, the envy of his friends and no doubt very attractive to women. Unless he genuinely cares about his football (rather than his earning potential), I'd imagine he's perfectly happy flicking the ball about without having much impact on the game. He'll probably have a steady career at a top end Championship club/lower Prem team.
I agree with almost all of the opinions on here. I really dislike Grealish and he seems a perfect example of the kind of younger footballer who becomes detached from their supporters and reality before they have cut their teeth in the game. Compare him and Ryan Kent. Both young wingers who've come through the academies at big clubs. With 20 minutes to go yesterday, they were both out on their feet and not tracking back. But the reason Kent was was because of the level of effort and running he had done for the team. Grealish's was evidently a lack of fitness and will to work back and do his defensive duties. And those children's shinnies are just crying out for someone to dent those milk bottle legs. I hope our Joshie gave him a couple last night
