Can you still take flasks in to Oakwell? Come to stage of thinking £2.00+ is too expensive for a cup of Bovril when you can buy a pack of 24 for £1
I take a small flask to the game every time, Home and away and I've never had it confiscated. I think they are banned at Hillsborough though!

Funny you should ask, I was just thinking about buying a flask as I really need a warm drink/something to hold during the cold weather to lessen the effects of my Raynaud's but last year I often couldn't get served at half time. Holding my hands under the hairdryer works a treat though so if any of you are ladies and see someone constantly standing there pressing the button for 15 mins then it'll be me! (I do stop so that people can dry their hands).
Steady on, I'm still waiting for that luminous paint to be applied to those bollards. Do they have to order that neary a year in advance too?
A flask would have been a good idea tonight when two super slow young ladies were watching a queue get larger but not speeding up from their snail pace. Rather than a Leeds protest we should do one for catering pick a big attended home game and people bring their own stuff from home so they get the message
i always take one. never been asked to show it, or have it confiscated i don't take milk in my drinks, so if anyone does, just say I'm allergic to milk... they can't stop you then !!!
well I always have done.... and have been asked to show whats in my back pack. Not once was my flask denied or confiscated.... I do not get there very often these days , but U was at the Reading game and took a flask no worries at all.
Re: well I always have done.... The aformentioned steward in blue stopped me taking a can of ginger beer up before Reading. Only beer during Dryathlon. If that is dangerous what could a lobbed flask do. Rules don't stack up. Both should be allowed of course.
Re: well I always have done.... I once got asked by a copper outside the ponty to open up my flask so he could make sure there was no alcohol in it. Told him to do one, none of his business.
Re: well I always have done.... I take a large steel one in. Don't put it in my pocket or hide it. I don't lob it at away fans, the linesman or our players either.
