2-2. Hourihane and a substitute goal from Armstrong.

Got to be Watkins and Armstrong for me.

 

I'd keep that defense but we cannot keep conceding two goals a game. I'd just have Armstrong in instead of Bradshaw.

 

We all want Watkins up top. Well those without power to decide .

 

Watkins up top gives us something different ie without payne we have no target man without Payne. Armstrong is much better to bring on against tired legs. Just hope Kpekawa can get into Ayew early and let him know he's in for a tough game. All in all, I can't wait to get under them lights completely different atmosphere at night compared to Saturday afternoons.

 

I wonder if the decision to play him out wide on Saturday was more due to Kent possibly needing a rest? With Janko being out we don't really have any other cover out wide.

I think he'll be back up top tonight, hopefully with Bradshaw.

 

Sorry to take the defeatist attitude but i cant see us getting anything from this game other than pride....not that i can see much lol...eyes sight still not too good, that said i think it will be a fairly even game , with goals at each end but i reckon villa to nick it 3,2.......bare in mind ive not got one prediction right so far....lol

I have a sneaky feeling we may alter the formation slightly today and maybe give Morsy a game in midfield. Perhaps a 4-5-1/4-3-3 type thingy.

Hope it isn't were only fielding 5 subs there and Hammill and Kent are better on the other wings, but other than that I'd go with that and 2-1 Bradshaw and Hourihane

 

I still think I'd like to see Armstrong alongside Watkins. Although I wouldn't be disappointed who plays up front so long as Watkins is one of them.
