It seems like some of the Somerset players are saying the same thing...

3 down. If we go for it I suspect we'll lose. I hope we go for it.

Re: Not a good start to the morning

It was a decent deal as it kept us interested enough and have them just enough time, we won't play for the draw at any stage it's do or die really

I suppose It could work out well for them, as I don't think our line up in this game is good enough to get the runs in a quick enough time...hope im wrong though...

Somerset can't have been watching the game because this is as dead a wicket you'll see. If we get there it'll be an incredible achievement because scoring runs is almost impossible.

Well, I think in the end the ECB's decision not to let the likes of Root and Bairstow play have cost us this match, and thus, the Championship. I think JB in particular would have relished this run chase...

Could have also done with Rashid, but if he has personal issue's it's probably for the best that he's not involved.

Player recruitment this summer is key now. And it will be interesting id our overseas player selection improves now Dizzy isn't in charge....

Sickening result given the circumstances. Had a good day in Lisbon today and that has ruined my mood!!

It's times like this when liking cricket is hard work. Can just about put up with it all being on subscription channels, sky high match tickets cost for internationals, slow over rate robbing the paying customer of their full entitlement and of course how match fixers aren't banned forever.

What I can't accept is a Middlesex legend having a say in who plays against his former county in a title decider. It's extremely shady and casts the game in a bad light as we don't know now if the best side won the title because we were handicapped.

I'd put it you that if you question why Patterson should be playing you don't watch much Yorkshire cricket.

Won a title by default. Season as a whole by our usual standards has been disappointing with being the nearly team in every competition and so come away with nothing. Important now to strengthen the batting lineup and improve on the overseas front.
