Apologies for the steady stream of updates guys. I am now tapering my training as marathon day gets ever closer. following the Yorkshire 3 peaks walk I managed a 8.5 mile run in Wednesday and same again this Sunday. The charities I am running for are Parkinson's UK and Camps International. Two charities very personal to me. I have never physically worked so hard for anything in my life over the last few months and don't want to let anyone down. The run is in York two weeks on Sunday. If you would like to donate them please click on the link in the sticky near the top of the page. Every penny and pound really does help. For those who have already donated I cannot thank you enough for your generosity you have shown. Thank you again you wonderful beautiful people. Stuart (Jack)
Oh and I will do you a deal. I promise from this day forward never to bite or similar to a hemsworth tyke thread/comment in return of a donation. Sorry for sounding desperate but I am pursuing every avenue out there to try and drum up interest/donations.
What's your longest run so far? My marathon is October 23rd near Oxford. On Tuesday night I managed 19.88 miles (according to Garmin) and my legs were pretty wobbly. Tomorrow morning I need to get up early and go for it - I don't think I've quite reached the level of endurance needed yet.
Managed my Sunday training run. My aim now is to try and remain fit and healthy and injury free up to the 9th of October. If you can donate then please do.
bump if you wish to donate then click on the link in the attached thread 9 days and counting http://bbs.barnsleyfc.org.uk/showthread.php?247663-My-charity-marathon-run
