Oh dear that wont go down well in West Yorkshire :)

Bit surprised myself - Keane was there to watch him against Reading and I thought he had his worst game of the season - in fact I wondered if he was trying too hard because he knew he was being watched so I thought he may have blown it

Of course Keene would have been impressed with the way he managed to get the opposition riled enough to get sent off

All Joking aside I am really pleased for him and I think he deserves the chance - hope he gets a game and does well

Fully deserved. Anyone in their right mind will recognise that.

Congratulations to him. Well deserved. he's worked hard to improve his game and has been terrific for the last 12 months.

    Thank you, my old friend.
Absolutely brilliant news, I'm dead chuffed for Conor. It's thoroughly well deserved, in my opinion.

Even during his worst game he is still the greatest player to ever play football. Glad Roy Keane had recognised this.

    well done fella

but with 6 premier league mid-fielders in the squad I do not think he will even get on the bench sadly.... but lets keep fingers crossed.

Hope he gets some game time, but not so much that he gets injured or comes back fatigued!

It makes you wonder, if this good run continues, would Wales consider calling up Marley Watkins & Tom Bradshaw, or James Bree getting selected for England U20's (for example)?

I really can't believe Watkins hasn't been called up yet. I know Bradshaw would probably have more than 1 appearance for Wales had it not been for his injury but I can't see them not being the squad soon!

Apparently Watkins can be called up to play for France as well... Maybe Wales asked him but he's told them to bugger off he's waiting for the big cahoona's to come knocking?? :D :D :D

Even if they're not selected in the initial squad, they may well be called up if there's a number of withdrawals.
