Well done Sid E. Bottom, I was having palpitations the previous over. Tremendous performance from Bresnan to get us up there, absolute hero. Great support from Rafiq. Just need to win now!
Long time to get there but the wonderful Yorkshire tail have given us a title chance. Well done Ryan Sidebottom getting the boundary for the crucial batting point. They just have to throw the bat now and then bowl the MCC cheaters out.
This is ridiculous! Nerves shredded, refresh button battered. What a fight we've put up. That 5 man seam attack doesn't look such a bad idea now.
Phew. Now all we need to do is win a 1 innings game in a day and a half with an 87 run start - or hopefully a bit more
Re: Come on Yorkshire Brilliant Arnie Sidebottom - just 9 more to go - though would settle for just another 3 tonight
Wrong again. Massive supported of my county. Will be absolutely delighted if they do the business today and tomorrow. Just putting people straight about a certain individual. An individual who is highly tallented and who I want to see do well. Just pointing out that his love for Bfc is a myth.
It was just based on this post which seemed a bit unhappy about things: "This seasons form. Really!!! Head of the coaching cartel Pro Coach which is taking Yorkshire junior cricket back tro the dark ages when you had to have a hedge fund bank ballance for your son to achieve his potential. Darren Gough would have still been playing for Monky B under the current wonga orientated system. Trevor would have had to take him to Derby." http://bbs.barnsleyfc.org.uk/showth...rom-the-jaws-of-victory&p=1872996#post1872996 Regarding Rafiq - just because you don't go to a game (or any games) doesn't stop you being a fan of a team. Fair play to the lad if he was talking up Barnsley in his column.
Jesus, arn't you intense. Digging up ancient posts. My point all that time ago was that gone are the days when a lad from Littleworth school could go on to play for his county and country. On Rafiq, if I said that I was A Sheffield Wednesday fan to make myself more popular with the local rag readers, I would be lying.
So how is this going to pan out? Middlesex need a win Time is running out for them to try and set us a total to chase down but give them enough time to bowl is out. Surely they won't play for a draw will they?
Re: Come on Yorkshire Excellent chance with Middlesex looking like they are playing for a draw happy to finish second. Bresnan is a legend his figures through his whole career makes him for me the number 1 pick for the all rounder position in an all time Yorkshire 11. Can't discredit the batting of the underated Hodd, Rafiq and Sidebottom to help him out in three big partnerships. Sods law for Jack Brooks that career best figures won't get him the MOTM award.
