    A minute's applause

Don't need the club to organise anything, just do it in the 26th minute.

The entire footballing community should come together. It shows that it could happen to anyone of them who'll be playing at the weekend

We really can't do this every time someone passes over.

Totally agree. Should do what Preston do and celebrate it all in one game towards the end of the season.

He was a local footballer who died on the pitch. That doesn't happen very often.
A minute's applause wouldn't go amiss in this instance.

Cheers for that. No need really to applaude the tragic death of a fan of another club that few on here were even aware of before last night. The true meaning of an applause gets watered down with every new one for the current fad.

I agree. I am normally on the side of the people saying that it is getting a bit much but, for me, this circumstance is different. Either way, it's up to people to decide whether they want to or not in each instance and I wouldn't begrudge them whichever decision they made.
