Deserved it, too. Typical Scowen performance - covered every blade of grass.

    Unsung hero !

We need a Chant specifically for this player as he his a fans favourite but lets let him know and dedicate a song for this lad for next home game ?

    Any ideas ?

I was thinking when we were singing about Hourihane at Preston on Saturday we needed one for Roberts! Scowen definitely deserves one as well though.

Deservedly so, he seems to have settled very well back into midfield at the higher level and if anything looks better than he was last season. He compliments Connor perfectly, like Stumpy and Redders.

How about a song mentioning each team member? Three or four verses with chorus should do it.....

I predicted at start of season that Scowen and Watkins would be better suited in the Championship.
Scowen is a fabulous player - I'm obviously not saying he's in the same class - but he does reminds me of Xavi how he runs - head up, arms out, - take note next time

I also predicted that established players like Hammill, Coner and Sam may struggle in Championship due to lack of pace
Really pleased I was wrong with Adam and especially Coner - I still think jury still out on Sam tho

He's like the worst sort of Jack Russell.

Feisty, belligerent, uncompromising, loyal, vicious, utterly courageous and bloody minded.

Woebetide any ankles or brick shithouse walls in the vicinity.

Couldn't agree more, I think it would have to have been 96/7. I don't recall a weak link in that team either. Same goes for 81/82.

Have you not heard the 'We all dream of a team of Marc Roberts' song? One of our best.

I don't recall it mate. I do only get to about 5/6 away games though with me working Saturdays and having to use all my holidays on half days for Home games so that might be why... I'll have to keep my ears open next time!
