First game of the season we can make - just looking for tickets for me and the lad & there's just odd singles here and there in the East & Ponty, apart from the usual deadspots in the far bottom corners. A good run between now and the 27th and will Villa's away following, we're looking at a reight crowd.

I thought Villa had already sold their 5500 allocation?

Can't see villa selling out, maybe a slight chance if they win every game up till then.

Think they will eventually and that we could sell out two and a half sides if this week goes well.

It will look a good attendance the stands will be full. But yet the attendance will be 14_15 thousand, always wondered where the 8 thousand spare seats had gone.

By kick off I expect the only part of the ground with an empty seat to be in the north side of the west stand. Villa will sell out and looking at eticketing two weeks before the actual game, our usual stands will be full with a couple of good results this week.

In the two weeks since the fans engagement meeting Villa must have only sold about 500 tickets with general sale. Doesn't look like we sold too many flexi tickets for the game either :(

Not a cat in hell's chance that quoted attendance was true. Ponty and East virtually full, 5k Villa in the North. Somebody needs a new calculator.

Definitely looked more than that. And weren't we told they'd sold 4000 in advance sales? All their forums quoting 5k

3,737 Away supporters 12,093 Home supporters.

More home fans there for the Reading game according to that.

Only 12000 home with the Ponty and East nearly full and a decent number in the West?

    Aye go on then.

Those figures seem sound to me. The Ponty End wasn't as full as some may think. Many empty seats around me, five in a row next to us, a fair few down the front as well. From where I was sat, the East Upper was quite full, but the lower had a lot of seats empty, especially towards the away end. West stand as usual half empty, top deck especially so. The Villa fans were spread out and stood up, both of which mean it looked pretty full. The 5k quoted in various places was nowhere close. The Newcastle game may see a bigger crowd, more of a draw I'd say.

The eticketing map showed less than 100 seats left in the East top, 50 in the bottom except for the last section near the away end which weren't on sale and the Ponty had less than 100 left. ST holders that have not turned up?
